GEM STONE MINING


We sell bags of mining 'rough' that has been embeded with gemstones, minerals &
fossils.  Some rough contains emeralds!  Mining rough ranges in weight from 3 to 5
pounds and costs range from $5.00 to $7.00  We supply all the equipment and
supplies to make your mining experience an enjoyable one.  This is a very exciting
activity for groups. The "miners" learn how to pan for these gems & fossils, identify
what they find and take home a fun treasure.  Entertaining & educational, panning for
treasures is fun for all ages, even mom & dad. Old Sycamore Mining Co. sluice offers
all the excitement of panning for semi-precious gemstones in a sluice of rushing
water similar to the gold rush days.
